"Stovian" is a title based upon conjecture.

The dominant life form on the planet Sto was a humanoid species, although there were many other species who called the planet home, such as the Zocci.

Society on the planet was "highly stratified"; there existed an underclass of cyborgs who had been denied equal rights, and while by 2008 things were improving, Sto society still "despised" their kind. Furthermore, the majority of Sto's society was poor, with many doing menial labour but earning little from it.
