Biology

The Skeleton Crew had the skeleton of humans. They wore armour to protect their brittle bones. They have the lifespan of average Humans and transfer their consciousness into other individuals.

Technology

The Skeletons had protective suits that could create a green fuzz that blurred out their faces. They also had possesion of laser-swords.

History

The Skeletons were Humans on Boukon, that were robbed of their bodies by Oil Corporation. OilCorp promised to give them new bodies if they helped bring down pirates, such as Kaliko. A crew lead by Swabb served under her on the Black Gold, but planned to betray her to OilCorp. Swabb mistook the Doctor and Martha Jones for OilCorp spies and planned to save them. But they needed to save Kaliko and the ship began to crash. The crew were destroyed when the ship crashed, the only survivor being Swabb.

Behind the scenes

Living skeletons would be reused in Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead.
