Series 1 of K9 premiered in full in 2010 with a run of 26 30-minute episodes in the series -- the longest Doctor Who-related season since Season 19 in 1981, which also had 26 episodes. It is also the first full-season production of a non-BBC-produced spin-off series.

As with Doctor Who and Torchwood there will be a complete series box set and at least one "vanila" DVD is announced.
The full series boxset is due to be release in 29th September in Australia, UK release is unknown. [1]
The first vanila DVD, The Bounty Hunter, containing the first 6 episodes; is due to be released in Australia in 29th September 2010, UK release is unknown.[2]
