Nathaniel Porter was a british aristocrat and the owner of The Manse. He married Enola Tucker. After his wife's death he took her friend, Oliver Marks, as a permanent guest. He also took the Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams in as guests. (NSA: The Glamour Chase)
