The Mogarians were a race of humanoids from Mogar.

Biography

The Mogarians were humanoids with greenish-gold skin, Human-like faces and grid-like mouths. It was possible that the grid on the lower half of the face was part of the breathing apparatus or possibly a voice synthesiser. They could only survive in the atmosphere of Mogar and couldn't survive in an oxygen rich atmosphere. In order to survive in other atmospheres, they wore full-bodied spacesuits with built-in translators. (DW: Terror of the Vervoids)

History

When the Humans first discovered Mogar, they tried to strip the planet of its mineral wealth. Though the Mogarians greatly disliked this, they were a peaceful species and did nothing to stop it. In 2986, two Mogarians on board the Hyperion III tried to hijack the ship with the help of Rudge. They attempted to return the cargo of vionesium to Mogar, since they believed that it was unjustly stolen from the planet. They were killed when their masks were damaged by a substance.
