- 1927 - Gregg Palmer, who played Shav and Gern in DW: The Tenth Planet and Lieutenant Lucke in The War Games, is born in San Francisco, California.
- 1964 - "The Ordeal", Episode 6 of DW: The Daleks is first broadcast.
- 1969 - Part 1 of DW: The Seeds of Death is first broadcast.
- 1975 - Part 1 of DW: The Ark in Space is first broadcast.
- 1978 - Fred Ferris, who played the part of Bert Rowse in DW: Planet of Giants, dies.
