The Howling → Eye Patch Lady

After watching The Curse of the Black Spot and rethinking about the previous episode, it seems as if the Eye Patch Lady seen in Day of the Moon and Curse of the Black Spot is a midwife. She appeared just before Amy went into the Little Girl's bedroom, finding a photograph of herself and a baby. Also, if you think about the lines that she has been saying, they seem quite encouraging, the type of thing a midwife would say to a woman giving birth, or afterwards, in the case of The Day of the Moon.

"No, I think she's just dreaming" implies that whoever she is talking about is asleep, obviously, so this would take place after the birth.

"You're doing good, you're doing quite alright" is definately something a midwife would say to a mother giving birth, though probably a different tone, but I am sure you get my point.

I believe that these occurances of the woman may be occuring backwards, as the first quote implies it was said after a birth, and the second would be during, though this is only a very small theory.

Another thing which suggests this theory is the fact that she is always seen in a white room, which is often associated with hospitals.
