Tardisode 1 is the first of the Tardisode series of mini-episode prologues to Doctor Who Series 2. This Tardisode is a prelude to the episode, New Earth.
Synopsis
Novice Hame is advertising the New New York Hospital, explaining to viewers how they never lose a patient. A female scream of help is heard and the camera cuts out.
Script
Announcer: "Welcome to New Earth, Let us cure you".
Novice Hame walks into camera shot and walks up to a sick patients' bed.
Novice Hame: "We can cure anything."
The camera pans around to show a sick female patient in a hospital bed and then onto a medical monitor displaying readings.
Novice Hame: "Hortray's Syndrome, terminal."
Camera pans around slowly, the bed curtain gradually blocking the view more and more until it reaches the other side. the patient is looking better, smiling, happy.
Novice Hame: "Wrong, we never lose a patient. We're here to help you. Donations welcome. Come to New Earth and be cured."
The scene continues to be a happy one with the patient smiling and Hame stroking her. The screen suddenly goes black and we hear a voice scream out.
Voice: "Help me! Please help me."
