Steve Slocombe, sometimes credited as Stephen Slocombe, has held a number of different titles for BBC Wales-produced DWU shows. He was an electrician, gaffer and best boy for Doctor Who, a best boy for Torchwood and a gaffer for The Sarah Jane Adventures.
On Doctor Who, he replaced normal gaffer Mark Hutchings on the double banked Turn Left and usual best boy Pete Chester on The Family of Blood and Human Nature. On Torchwood, he was one of the main best boys in series 1 and also the exclusive best boy of Children of Earth. For The Sarah Jane Adventures, he was gaffer during the first series.
