Jarl was a Cyberman from the planet Mondas, part of the Cybermen force which invaded the Snowcap South Pole Base with the intention of detonating a Z-Bomb located in its missile silo. Jarl and the other Cybermen were eliminated during the invasion when their home planet and power source, Mondas, disintegrated. (DW: The Tenth Planet)
