The Faction Paradox series were originally a series of audio dramas about Faction Paradox, an organisation officially introduced by Lawrence Miles in the Doctor Who novel EDA: Alien Bodies.

Produced initially by BBV Productions, these were then followed by audio dramas produced by Magic Bullet Productions, the first being Coming to Dust.

Then followed a series of novels published from 2002 to 2006 by Mad Norwegian Press with Random Static Ltd taking over with Newtons Sleep.

There were also two issues of a Faction Paradox comic released by Image Comics; the comic was cancelled abruptly mid-story due to poor sales.

Starting in 2011, Obverse Books intend releasing collections of short stories featuring Faction Paradox. The first such collection is entitled Faction Paradox: A Romance in Twelve Parts.
