Herbabaculum vitae, commonly named the Weed plant, was a species of plant native to the planet Necros, it appeared to be a blueish-purple colour. It was similar in food value to the Soya Bean plant from Earth.
The Doctor and Peri Brown saw the plant when they arrived on Necros. Peri took a sample for her collection. (DW: Revelation of the Daleks)
