Connie Bryde was a farmer in a village in England.
Biography
Connie was blamed for killing her husband after he died mysteriously one Christmas. She later allowed the Eighth Doctor to become her as a lodger. The Doctor discovered an alien was using Connie as a scapegoat for its killings. He killed the alien, allowing Connie to live her life without feeling somehow responsible for her husband's death.
