 In the synopsis for The Impossible Astronaut, and in DWM, it says that one of the main characters - The Doctor, River, Rory or Amy - will die. As in the synopsis for Day of the moon it says the doctor is trapped in the perfect prison, I think that this will be the "death" - The Doctor will appear to die, but is in fact only imprisoned. -River didn't tell the Doctor that he couldn't rewrite those times, she just said that she didn't him to. +In the Series 6 trailer, Amy shoots someone and the Doctor goes "NO!" I reckon that she gets posessed by weird moon thing aliens or whatever, so she kills Rory. We know River has to survive so she can die in the Library, and Rory is barely shown in the trailer. Anyone got any-counter arguments apart from "Time can be re-written?" +It would be stupid to kill Rory off in ''Cold Blood'', bring him back to life in ''The Pandorica Opens'' and then kill him off again 3 episodes later in ''The Impossible Astronaut''. If Rory was going to die again so soon, it wouldn't even have been worth it to bring him back to life the first time. Apart from that, Rory has been seen in the trailer for episodes other that the first two. The Doctor would be against her shooting almost anyone, unless there was no choice. +It's suddenly occured to me that it may not be a litteral death. Remember 'The Stolen Earth', where one character was foretold to die.
+Donna Noble died in terms of her being reset to her original 'factory setting' in a life without The Doctor, therefore dead in a sense; Rose Tyler returned to the parrallel word, therefore continuing the state of her being officially dead in the primary universe; we thought Martha Jones had died when she was seemingly scattered into atoms and Jack Harkness was exterminated, but returned to life later.

+Moffat claims that he is not lying or cheating with this death. A metaphorical death, like Rose or Donna's deaths, would likely be considered cheating. His implication seems to be that one of those 4 characters will actually die.[[User:Icecreamdif|Icecreamdif]] 04:51, April 16, 2011 (UTC)
+Simple solution to work out who dies: Comapre the synopis's of eps 1&2 and ep 3. Say Rory wasn't featured in the DOTM (ep 2) synopsis but is in the COBS (ep 3) synopsis then either he doesn't have a big role in DOTM, or he dies in TIA and is ressurected in DOTM. If he appears the COBS synopsis then he definately survies the events of the two parter.
+The above formula works out for all three of the current Tardis Crew, however, it's not as easy for River Song. If she dies in TIA then she must be met in a different point in time in AGMGTW (ep 7) or she has been ressurected (once again).
+The easiest way to work all of this out would be to use the evidence in the trailers, which confirm that The Doctor, Amy and Rory all appear in COBS but not River. HA!
+Also guys, there's something I haven't told you. The upcoming Trading Card Magazine, Doctor Who Monster Invasion, has leaked, and in doing so confirmed the following:
+*The Stetson-wearing Doctor is actually another future version of the Doctor
+*Amy marks her skin with tally marks each time she sees a Silent monster
+*River Song is a human from Earth
+*Amy is kidnapped by the Silence while investigating Greystark hall
+*The astronaut suit was built by the Silence
+*A mysterious little girl is in the astronaut suit
+*Canton helps the Doctor fight the Silence

+The thing about Steven Moffat's writing is, that even though a lot of it involves timey-wimey paradoxes, the plot's or always quite simple when viewed from a non-linear, non-subjective point.
