The Interplanetary Air Race was a race held in the Solar System. Its course required competitors to travel from Earth to Mars, backtrack to Venus, then speed forward to Saturn, before returning to Earth.

Mike Kelly competed in the 2400 race and won the atojet, the Emerald Isle. His victory margin was a mere five minutes over Roo Bannard, an Australian spaceship captain. (DAN: The Five-Leaf Clover)
