Connie Bryde was a farmer in a village in England.
Biography
Connie was blamed for killing her husband after he died mysteriously one Christmas. She later allowed the Eighth Doctor to become her lodger. The Doctor discovered an alien was using Connie as a scapegoat for its killings. He killed the alien, allowing Connie to live her life without feeling somehow responsible for her husband's death.
