real world websites websites that only exist in the real world and are written primarily from an out-of-universe perspective Doctor Who website, Bad Wolf website.
websites from the real world websites mentioned or seen within a narrative, but which also exist in the real world eBay, YouTube, TARDIS Wiki
tie-in websites websites typically created by the BBC which are written from an in-universe perspective; that is, they treat their fictional subject as if it's a real thing Who is Doctor Who?, U.N.I.T., Cybus
websites and domains websites that only exist within the DWU, or are substantially different from their real world counterpart search-wise.net
