Wikipedia was a website-based database of knowledge created in the 21st century. Rhys Williams used Wikipedia to investigate the Ghost Train. (AUDIO: Ghost Train)

When the Seventh Doctor changed history slightly, he mentioned that he would need to edit Wikipedia to reflect the change. (AUDIO: Mask of Tragedy)

Amble the Fairly Ugly Doll had a Wikipedia page which was often hacked and altered. (PROSE: Writer's Notes)

Alice Obiefune once remarked that Wikipedia was "decidedly light" on the part of history where the United States Conference were attacked by werewolves. (COMIC: The Long Con)

When the year 2004 was erased in 2019, Wikipedia had no record of that year. (PROSE: Time Lapse)

Later, Space Wikipedia documented the history of planets such as Kepzyr. (PROSE: Frank Reade, Jr.'s Electric Time Canoe)

Helen Sinclair once used the "Wiki, uh, encyclopaedia thing" to research the decriminalisation of homosexuality in 1968. She later told Liv Chenka about this, when opening up about her brother Albie, whom was disowned by their father after he was outed and imprisoned. She was shocked by the article's frankness, as it treated the subject as if it was "nothing" whilst she harboured buried layers of resentment towards the treatment of her brother. Alternate universes[[edit] | [edit source]]

In 2033 in the 925th Universe, Wikipedia, alongside all fandom wikis, was merged into the Wiki, a singular wiki for everything. This was partially done to quell the backlog of inclusion debates in each wiki's forums. (PROSE: The Book of the Snowstorm [+]Loading...["The Book of the Snowstorm (short story)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Though unremarked in any of these stories, Wikipedia is a non-profit wiki, founded by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger. Wales also co-founded the for-profit company Wikia, later called Fandom, which formerly hosted, as a subdomain, the Tardis Wiki, this site. Tardis Wiki uses MediaWiki, the software used by Wikipedia.
