The Isolus pod was a spacecraft used by the Isolus. It was small enough to fit in the palm of a human hand, and required the warmth generated by a love-like emotion to operate.

One Isolus pod landed in London in 2012, and the Isolus inside escaped. The pod was paved into the road by a local council employee, Kel, who afterwards spent some of his time helping to push cars past the spot where they stalled because the pod absorbed their energy. Rose Tyler dug the pod up with a pickaxe and recharged it by throwing it into the flame of the Olympic Torch, a beacon of love. (TV: Fear Her)
