Corporal Edward Anderson, often called Ted by the Doctor, was a British soldier who fought in the trenches in France during World War I. In 1917, he accidentally travelled through a Dalek portal and ended up in Hellcombe Hall in Kent where he met the Eleventh Doctor, who he helped uncover a Dalek plot known as the Dalek Project. After a fierce battle with the Daleks, he was awarded a war medal. (COMIC: The Dalek Project)
