Fame

"Fame" was a song from the 1980s. It included the lyric, "I'm gonna live forever".

Jo Grant was given the song to perform for the television show Make a Star, not knowing that the song hadn't been written yet. The Third Doctor recognised the song as coming from the 1980s, and from this knowledge was able to deduce that the Master was trying to unravel the timeline by releasing as yet unwritten songs.
