Ranx was a planet with a warm Mediterranean type climate and a single, small, bright sun shining down through a purple and orange sky.

There were large clusters of trees with large white growths hanging off the branches and occasional small low lying bushes resembling a kind of orchard or olive grove on Earth. Tryst surveyed the planet, and stored specimens from it on the Continuous Event Transmuter. (TV: Nightmare of Eden)

Ranx was placed under the protection of the Galactic Heritage. (PROSE: The Tomorrow Windows)

Behind the scenes[[edit]]

The backdrop used for Ranx in Nightmare of Eden was reused from the Space: 1999 episode Guardian of Piri, where it represented the planet Piri.
