The women in the wood were a mother and daughter, who lived in a shack in the countryside during the Daleks' invasion of Earth in the 22nd century.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
The women made clothes for the miners who worked at the local mine — which was mining away the rock so that the Daleks could pilot the planet as a ship — in exchange for food, and were left alone by the Daleks.
Barbara Wright and Jenny came to their shack looking for shelter, which they received after being told by the women packs of dogs roamed the woods and hunted travellers.
However, the two women betrayed Barbara and Jenny to the Daleks, for which they received more food in return. (TV: The Dalek Invasion of Earth)
