The Lost Scrolls of Rassilon, or simply the Scrolls of Rassilon, were an fabled Gallifreyan artefact.

In one of the infinite parallel universes of "possible space", (COMIC: Fire and Brimstone) the Scrolls were buried by Rassilon in his Tomb in a conspicuous earthen plot within the innermost sanctum. They were watched over by the Outcasts for millennia. It was said that a Time Lord would find them and use them to lead Gallifrey out of "Darkness". This prophecy was fulfilled when the Doctor, recently exiled from the Domed City of Gallifrey after the election of his malevolent half-brother the Master to the Presidency, learned the secret of the Tomb and found the Scrolls. When he touched them, he got a telepathic sense that Gallifrey's salvation from the evil of the Master was to be found on the Blue Planet. This inspired him to run away from Gallifrey to Earth in a stolen TARDIS, beginning a quest with him eventually finding his long-lost father Ulysses and bringing him back to Gallifrey, restoring harmony to Time Lord society. (PROSE: The Chronicles of Doctor Who?)

In another version of history, where Ulysses's human lover and the Doctor's mother was Penelope Gate (PROSE: The Gallifrey Chronicles) as opposed to Annalisse, (PROSE: The Chronicles of Doctor Who?) Larna informed Ulysses himself, Penelope Gate and Mr Saldaamir that the "Lost Scrolls of Gallifrey" would be instrumental in a single Time Lord's mission to lead Gallifrey from Darkness. (PROSE: The Gallifrey Chronicles)
