- The Moon has flowers and forests. It is home to Lunaries, lions, hydras and the shades of the dead. Endymion is one of its cities.
- The Lunaries use artificial beings called servuses as servants. They use mirrors for long-distance communication.
- Australia is not visible on Earth's surface from the Moon.
- Iris once encountered a manticore in the Indian jungle.
- Iris claims that she gave Neil and Buzz a fright when she drove up out of a crater flashing her headlights.
