The Record of Rassilon was a book written by Rassilon during the Dark Times containing information of the war with the Great Vampires. It was an emergency instruction that, should the King Vampire ever be found, a Time Lord would kill him even at the cost of one's own life. A copy of the Record was to be installed in all time vehicles.
