J-Kibb was a People Ship who spied on Bernice Summerfield, inhabiting a drone and calling himself "Joseph".

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

This section's awfully stubby.

Info from Oh No It Isn't!, Walking to Babylon and Tap needs to be added

J-Kibb was an artificially intelligent mind in the form of a Ship used by the People. As God knew that Bernice Summerfield and Irving Braxiatel would be important players in the anticipated war between the People and the Time Lords, he sent J-Kibb to inhabit a drone and pretend to be a porter at St Oscar's University, using the name "Joseph". (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle)

In order to approach Benny without obstruction, Addam made Joseph think that his battery was depleted and that he needed to confine himself to his charging bay, despite the fact that a porter's batteries lasted for centuries and had a three-minute charging time. (PROSE: The Seventh Fanfic)

Joseph was damaged by a woman with a gun when Mastrov tried to kill Benny. Braxiatel told Benny that he had repaired Joseph, (PROSE: Dragons' Wrath) but in truth he had little to fix but a remote link which made him realise that he was a simple drone and not a university porter. However, he kept this from Benny. (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle)

In Babylon, Joseph was taken over by God and delivered a message to Benny. (PROSE: Walking to Babylon)

Benny with the original Joseph. (PROSE: Walking to Babylon)

J-Kibb died when a creature inhabited the drone and God isolated the Ship, cutting off the network links and trapping the creature inside of the drone to die. J-Kibb's ship went on a collision course towards Dellah, breaking apart as it entered the atmosphere, and smashed into the planet's surface. The explosion could be seen for miles and the shockwave felt across the continent. (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle)

Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]

After J-Kibb's death, Braxiatel repaired the drone, which was inhabited by B-Aaron for a time. (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle)

Mor'yuchi examined the J-Kibb and learnt of the existence of the People, whom he hoped to enter into diplomatic relations with after taking over Dellah. (PROSE: Twilight of the Gods)

Irving Braxiatel built another Joseph and gave him to Benny as a present on New Year's Day 2600. The new Joseph was aware of his predecessor. (PROSE: Professor Bernice Summerfield and the Doomsday Manuscript)

Appearance[[edit] | [edit source]]
