Susan Engel (born 25 March 1935[1]) played Cessair of Diplos in the Doctor Who television story The Stones of Blood. She also played Ms Muriel Joy in Big Finish Productions' Gallifrey story A Blind Eye. In 2011, she read the AudioGO story The Stones of Blood, based on the original TV version.

She is married to fellow Big Finish actor Sylvester Morand.

Engel's other credits included roles on Public Eye, Crown Court, Moody and Pegg, Inspector Morse and Casualty. However, she is best known for playing Helen Bourne in twenty-eight episodes of The Cedar Tree.
