Mollie Dawson was Theodore Maxtible's maid in 1866. Though the other servants thought the house was haunted, she never heard anything because she slept "like a log." Her uncle was killed in the Crimean War at the Battle of Inkerman on 5 November 1854.
When the Second Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon arrived unconscious at Maxtible's house on 2 June 1866, she gave them a drink which helped them to feel better. When she attended to Jamie, she was attacked by Toby and put in Jamie's place so he could be abducted. Later she took Jamie to the south wing of the house where Victoria Waterfield was being held. They heard a scream, and Jamie sent her back to her room for her safety.
She later heard Victoria's voice and was roughly interrogated by Arthur Terrall about it until his fiancée Ruth Maxtible intervened. Ruth's father hypnotised Mollie to forget she heard Victoria's voice. The Doctor sent Mollie with Ruth and Arthur to get as far away from the house as possible. (TV: The Evil of the Daleks)
