Bug I was the god-emperor of an insectoid species. He buried himself, his family and his slaves in a grand tomb, but his consciousness remained to watch over his people.

Generations later, Bug XXXLVII intended to follow the example of Bug I, but the consciousness of Bug I stopped him by destroying the entire civilisation, which he thought had become too soft. (PROSE: Buried Alive)
