Drakkis was a planet which was badly affected by the Last Great Time War.
One instant of the war in particular brought centuries of conflict to Drakkis, as an effect of temporal flux. Prior to the alteration of history, Drakkis had been at peace for its entire existence. The Sontarans, desperate to join in the war, descended on the planet to take advantage of the fallout. Commander Jask was beamed down onto the planet's ravaged surface.
The attempted conquest of Drakkis was merely for General Stenk's personal glory as the planet had no strategic value in the Rutan-Sontaran War. (AUDIO: The Sontaran Ordeal)
