Jud Hacker was a butcher. Prior to this, he was an executioner. In 1400, while driving his cart, his services as transport were acquired by Isabella, the queen of Richard II, was asked to take her and Vicki Pallister to Oxford. A train of men, led by the Archbishop of Canterbury Thomas Arundel passed and, with Isabella hiding in the cart, Hacker claimed Vicki was his daughter.
When they arrived in Oxford, Hacker asked for further payment. Isabella stole his cart and horses and rode off for Pomfret Castle. (AUDIO: The Doctor's Tale)
