This species' name was never spelled on-screen, allowing for [[closed captioning]] to determine proper spelling. Unfortunately, there was discrepancy amongst closed captioners.  Those working for [[ABC]] and [[BBCA]] went with ''Lugaleracush'', while the official [[BBC One]] captioning done by [[Red Bee Media]] had it as [[Lugalirakush]] (TV: ''[[The Rings of Akhaten (TV story)|The Rings of Akhaten]]'' on DVD) or ''{{PAGENAME}}''(on iPlayer?). {{disputed}}

A Lugal-Irra-Kush was a humanoid species originating from one of the seven planets of the Sun-singers of Akhet. They could be identified by their long crests, large white eyes and small mouths. They attended the Festival of Offerings at the pyramid of the rings of Akhaten at least once. (TV: The Rings of Akhaten)
