Mickey mentions that there could be a cyber king in the sphere. This could mean that there could have been another cyber king constructed in the parallel world prior to the events of The Next Doctor.Invictus152 19:49, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Jackie as a companion[[edit source]]
Shouldn't Jackie be counted as a companion in this story as she did travel in the TARDIS and did assist the Doctor throughout most of the episode.– The preceding unsigned comment was added by Fireball99 (talk • contribs) .
Easier Solution[[edit source]]
The Tenth Doctor could've stopped it all happening, but why didn't he? I shall explain how he could've stopped the ghosts turning into Cybermen — the whole 5 million of 'em.
One, he could've destroyed the computers that the programmed employees used to make the "Ghost Shift" 90%. In The Time Traveler's Almanac it says that the Cybermen in the area behind the polythene sheets could control the employees from there with the (unseen) technology they possibly built. In "The Long Game" a sonic screwdriver was capable of destroying a landline phone, so surely it could've destroyed the computers / levers in the Lever Room.
Two, he could've used his sonic screwdriver to interfere with the Cyber Leader increasing the "Ghost Shift", the sonic screwdriver could have been used to decrease the "Ghost Shift" to 0%, and/or deactivated the emotional inhibitors of the Cybermen, stopping them from interfering with the "Ghost Shift"
Three. he could've used his sonic screwdriver to............ well............ there are probably a gazillion other options he could've done.
So what do you think? Could the Tenth Doctor have stopped it? SniperKing1 ☎ 19:05, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
