Adrienne Hill (born 22 July 1937 in Plymouth, England, died 6 October 1997[1]) played ill-fated companion Katarina from Episode 4 of The Myth Makers through Episode 4 of The Daleks' Master Plan. Katarina was the first and one of the few companions ever to be killed on Doctor Who. Her tenure on the show was among the briefest.

Adrienne distanced herself from long-term association with Doctor Who, but appeared in the 1985 Children in Need special with other actors who had played the Doctor and his companions.[2]
