He took part in the fight against the Great Intelligence and its robot Yeti in the London Underground, manning the communications as Goodge Street tube station. (TV: The Web of Fear) Lane had a friend who manned the radio at the Holborn tube station base. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Web of Fear)
