David John (born 19 August 1960[1]) played Derek in the Doctor Who television story Survival. He later voiced several characters for Big Finish Productions including Ace's half-brother Liam McShane.

He shared his memories of Survival in a Survival-themed edition of Big Finish's charity podcast series Toby Hadoke's Who's Round.
