Frau Tod was an inn owner in Orlok, Germany. She hated oligarchs, especially Baron Teufel. Tod didn't believe in the Beast of Orlok and disliked fortune tellers.
In December 1827, Tod helped Lucie Miller in her investigations. She later went to Castle Orlok and saved the Eighth Doctor from being boiled in tar. In her youth, she found both Hans Tod and Greta Tod in the crashed spaceship and took them home to raise them as her children. (AUDIO: The Beast of Orlok)
