Daniel Nettheim (born in Sydney, Australia) directed various episodes of Doctor Who and K9. His uncle was actor David Nettheim.

Among Nettheim's Doctor Who credits were The Zygon Invasion / The Zygon Inversion in series 9, and Extremis / The Pyramid at the End of the World in series 10. Before this he had directed the K9 television stories Sirens of Ceres, The Fall of the House of Gryffen, Dream-Eaters and Oroborus.

As of 2022, he is the only K9 director to have worked on the main show.
