Drake Ayelbourne was, at some point in the future, the richest man in the universe. He kept himself alive using elite time technology, and when the Ninth Doctor and Rose arrived at his monument, he captured Rose and intended to keep her as his own.
Drake observed Rose from a video screen and had her brought to him by his robots who rendered her unconscious. Drake ordered them to place her on a couch and remarked that she was beautiful.
