Laurie Island

Laurie Island was located in Antarctica. It was eight hundred miles away from the Falklands.

In 1903, it was the site of the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition. According to the Second Doctor, the members of the expedition would not become famous in their own lifetimes, but their findings would be of great importance in the future. (PROSE: Mirth, or Walking Spirits)
