The Didus Expedition was a TV Comic story featuring the First Doctor, John and Gillian.

The First Doctor, John and Gillian search for an escaped didus.

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Besides the didus, the zoo also exhibits a mammoth, a stegosaurus, and a tyrannosaurus rex (or, at least, creatures that resembled these species). The zookeeper also acquires a pterodactyl at the adventure's close.
- The zookeeper walks around with a bush baby on his shoulder.
- The Doctor mentions the extinction of the dodo.
- In the jungle, the Doctor is nearly eaten by a crocodile, a monkey pests the second attempt to capture the didus, and Gillian is almost attacked by a cobra.
