'''Lord Prydon''' was a [[vampire]] in an [[Gallifrey (Annihilation)|alternate timeline]] in which [[Rassilon]] failed to defeat the [[Great Vampire]]. He had two children, [[Arcalia]] and [[Cassandra (Annihilation)|Cassandra]]. He wanted to meet with [[Borusa (Annihilation)|Borusa]], but [[Arcalia]] instead brought him [[Romana II]]. He tried to convert Romana into a Vampire; in doing this he could detect which house she came from by the taste of her [[blood]]. He also learned of Romana's previous meeting with the Great Vampire, alluding to a faint taint in her blood.
In [[True Lords' timeline|an alternative timeline]], Lord '''Prydon''' was a [[Vampire]] who ruled over [[Gallifrey (Annihilation)|Gallifrey]]. The Vampires of Gallifrey were Prydon’s honorary children, and they addressed him as "Father", "Lord", or "my Lord Father." [[Arcalia]] also referred to Prydon as the "Lord of Forever".


Prydon was slain after being severly weakened by Romana's blood, which contained a biological defence against vampirism ironicaly developed by the Prydon of the main timeline. Temporaraly vunrable Leela was able to drive a knife through prydon's heart, the other was destroyed by cassandra, using a sword given to her by Arcalia prior to the confrontation.
Prydon was made a Vampire by [[Rassilon (True Lords' timeline)|Rassilon]] before Rassilon attempted to reject vampirism and turned against [[King Vampire|the Great One]]. After Rassilon completed the [[Great Key (True Lords’ timeline)|Great Key]] to the polarised [[transduction barrier]] that darkened Gallifrey’s skies, Prydon killed him so that he could not consider betraying the Vampires again. Prydon thought that Rassilon was "an exceptionally tiresome little man".  


With prydons death, the transduction barrier was lowered using the great key, bringing daylight back to galifrey and spelling the end of Prydon's vampire hoard.
After killing Rassilon, Prydon waged war against [[Borusa (True Lords' timeline)|Lady Borusa]] and the [[True Lord]] forces for millennia. Prydon’s forces killed [[Patrex|Lord Patrex]] and wiped out the population of [[South Gallifrey|Southern Gallifrey]].
 
Prydon became enamoured with [[Romana II]] and wanted her to rule alongside him. He could identify her [[Great House|House]] lineage simply by tasting her [[blood]]. Drinking Romana's blood weakened him, due to her immunity to vampirism.

In an alternative timeline, Lord Prydon was a Vampire who ruled over Gallifrey. The Vampires of Gallifrey were Prydon’s honorary children, and they addressed him as "Father", "Lord", or "my Lord Father." Arcalia also referred to Prydon as the "Lord of Forever".

Prydon was made a Vampire by Rassilon before Rassilon attempted to reject vampirism and turned against the Great One.
