Prior to Love & Monsters "Mr. Blue Sky" was used as non-diegetic music for the wedding of Rubes Malone and Frank Cosgrove, played by Lynda Baron and Bernard Cribbins respsectively, in the final episode of the BBC television series Down to Earth, which concluded in 2005. An image of the couple was reused for the feature Weddings published on the Torchwood House tie-in website that coincided with the broadcast of Tooth and Claw [+]Loading...["Tooth and Claw (TV story)"].
