Gabriel was a non-human associate of Torchwood with the ability to force people to take on the form of their innermost self. He was in love with LeDuc, with whom he travelled to occupied Paris in the 1940s pretending to be his son, their mission being to locate Torchwood's German equivalent, Project Hermod. He was shot in the head by Oppenführer Hans Grau, but LeDuc remarked that he had survived far worse. He killed Grau using his power and their mission was successful, with Berber joining them as a member of Torchwood. (AUDIO: The Dying Room)
