Bernie was a member of Roscoe Ruskin and the Storyville Players.
He was a sax player, and was possessed by King Nocturne on the Red Note. He survived the encounter, protected by Gabby Gonzalez with her block transfer powers. (COMIC: The Jazz Monster)
