Peenemünde was the location of the first test of Nazi Germany's V1 flying bomb on 24 December 1942, near a forest. Generalmajor Oskar Steinmann and an Unteroffizier attended the test. (PROSE: Just War) The site was later heavily bombed by the Royal Air Force. (PROSE: Schädengeist's First Love)
