The River Wye was a river in the south-east of Wales. At least in part, it roughly followed both the Welsh border with England and the A466.
Following part of the river from south to north, it ran past Tintern on its west bank, snaking north to Monmouth, where it branched in two directions.
The River Wye appeared on Mary Cooper's map of overflow camps in and around Wales. (TV: The Categories of Life)
