Janet Ellis, MBE (born 16 September 1955[1]) played Teka in the Doctor Who television story The Horns of Nimon.

She later played Janet in the Among Us audio story The Apocalypse Starts at 6 PM.

She was the host who conducted the introductory interviews with newly-cast Doctors Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy. The latter interview was particularly notable, as Blue Peter had exclusive rights to announce McCoy's casting in the role. She was also instrumental in Blue Peter's celebration of the twentieth anniversary special, The Five Doctors, and the unusually heavy coverage they gave Doctor Who's return-from-hiatus, The Trial of a Time Lord.
