A ticket machine was a device found on buses that printed out tickets. There was also a ticket machine on the Celestial Omnibus.
When Iris Wildthyme and Panda arrived at a warehouse full of double decker buses, a ghost of a ticket inspector tried to kill Panda by drowning him in tickets produced by ticket machines. (PROSE: Just the Ticket)
